The SharePoint blog has been in beta mode for several months.  In the last 30 days close to 1500 people have visited the site, an increase of 53% over the previous month. Similar Microsoft Partner group blog sites that have been active for more than 12 months receive 10 times the amount of traffic (more than 15,000 visitors per month) but also include 20 times the amount of content written by Microsoft partners. This shows the potential for growth of the SharePoint Blog. Top SharePoint partners such as Socius, McGladrey, OTT Inc, JourneyTEAM, DynamicPoint and CLM Matrix are among the active contributing members.

Julie Stankey from Socius reports, ““We wrote a post on the SharePoint Blog directing readers back to a white paper on our website. We have gotten tremendous website traffic from the downloads.”  Another beta member, Tiffany Allan from DynamicPoint comments, “Even though it is still in beta, the SharePoint blog is currently our largest referring site. In fact the only other site coming close is PartnerPoint! Plus, we were contacted by 2 prospective buyers who read our article on the SharePoint blog site.”
